PLUSES AND MINUSES

MINUSES FIRST:

• Rain in spades! Too boring to stay home but I have zero money to shop with.
• My mother is going to Paris with my math teacher and I have to stay home with my annoying brother.
• This same brother is showing interest in Ditte, who will be in my class, so this must be prevented!

AND THE PLUS SIDE:

• My first job. Now I just have to wait for the money to roll in . . .
• I get to spend more time with my friends before mum gets home.
• My brother has come up with a great idea: we could have a party, with his friends and mine. It could just be the party of the year!
